Planet Unknown

Adam Rehberg · Adam's Apple Games · 2022

Build a habitable planet by placing polyomino terrain tiles from a shared lazy-susan turntable. The rotating turntable means everyone drafts simultaneously, and your choices affect what's available to others. Track progress across six terraforming dimensions.

Why you'll like it

How it plays

In Planet Unknown, each player builds a colony on their own planet by placing polyomino tiles (shapes like Tetris pieces). Tiles are chosen from a rotating lazy Susan in the middle of the table.

Each tile moves your tracks forward for things like water, technology and rovers, and filling rows and columns scores points. Rovers explore your planet, and meteorites add complications. Everyone plays at the same time, so it works well with up to 6 players.
