Deutscher Spiele Preis
Deutscher Spiele PreisGermany · founded 1990 · judged by Vote of retailers, journalists, and gaming clubs
Winners by year
The Deutscher Spiele Preis is decided by a vote among game retailers, journalists, and gaming associations, and publishes a ranked top ten rather than a single winner. Because the voting body is composed of people deeply involved in the hobby, results tend to favor more substantial strategy games than the Spiel des Jahres.
What this award means for you
The DSP top ten is a reliable annual snapshot of which meatier strategy games the German-speaking hobby scene rated most highly.
