About the awards

We only list games that won something meaningful. Here's who gives out each award, and what winning one tells you. A game recognised by four or more of these organisations gets our "exceptional consensus" badge.

How we recommend games

Every game on this site won at least one award from the organisations above. We sort by how many independent bodies agreed, never by commission. Questions or a game we've missed? Write to hello@playtimeawardwinners.com.

We may earn a commission through retailer links. This doesn't affect our recommendations.
