About the awards
We only list games that won something meaningful. Here's who gives out each award, and what winning one tells you. A game recognised by four or more of these organisations gets our "exceptional consensus" badge.
Golden Geek
The community award voted on by BoardGameGeek members, the largest tabletop community online. Categories run from Game of the Year to Best Party Game. It reflects what tens of thousands of active players actually put on the table.
