MicroMacro: Crime City is a cooperative detective game played on one giant, detailed map of a city. Everyone looks at the same map, and each case card gives you a question to answer, such as who did it, how and why.
The map is like a black-and-white hidden-picture book: the same characters appear several times, at different moments, so you follow them around the city to piece together the story. There's no reading of long texts and almost no rules; you simply look closely together.
Cases range from easy to tricky, and some include mature themes, so check the case difficulty before playing with young kids. It's a great game for a couple or a small group at a table with good light.

It's rated 12 and up, mostly because some cases involve crimes and mature themes. Many families play the easier cases with younger children.
It supports 1 to 4 players. More can join, but crowding around the map gets awkward.
Each case can only be solved once, but the box includes many cases, and there are standalone sequels with new maps.
