Dragomino

Bruno Cathala, Jérémy Pinget, Marie Fort, Wilfried Fort · Blue Orange Games · 2020

A children's version of Kingdomino where domino tiles reveal dragon eggs — matching terrains hatch eggs into baby dragons while mismatches produce empty shells. The egg-cracking excitement makes this the perfect first modern game for young children.

Why you'll like it

How it plays

Dragomino is a children's version of Kingdomino. Players pick domino tiles showing different landscapes and add them to their island, matching at least one side to the same landscape.

Whenever you create a new pair of matching landscapes, you look under an egg token to see if a baby dragon has hatched. The player who finds the most baby dragons wins. It's quick, has no reading, and is designed for children around 5 and up.
