Why you'll like it

How it plays

7 Wonders Duel is a two-player version of 7 Wonders. Instead of passing hands of cards, the cards for each age are laid out in a pyramid, some face up and some face down. On your turn you take an available card, one that isn't covered by others.

Taking a card can reveal new ones, so you're always thinking about what you're opening up for your opponent. You use cards to gather resources, build structures, grow your army or pursue science, and you can build up to four wonders that give powerful one-time effects.

There are three ways to win: push the military marker all the way to your opponent's capital, collect six different science symbols, or have the most points after the third age. That means you always have to watch your opponent's progress, not just your own.
