Photosynthesis

In Photosynthesis, players grow trees in a forest. The sun moves around the board each round, and trees that catch sunlight earn energy, while trees in the shadow of others earn nothing.

You spend energy to plant seeds, grow trees through their life stages and eventually harvest fully grown trees for points. Planning where shadows fall over the coming rounds is the key. It's a beautiful, three-dimensional game that's easy to learn.
