In Lanterns, players place tiles to decorate a lake for a festival. Each tile has colored lanterns on its sides. When you place a tile, every player gets a lantern card for the color facing them.
You trade in sets of lantern cards for points, and their value goes down over time, so timing matters. Matching colors also earns bonuses. It's a calm, pretty game that's quick to learn.
