A cooperative party game where everyone writes a one-word clue to help the active player guess a mystery word — but identical clues cancel each other out. The tension of choosing between obvious clues (which might match) and creative clues (which might confuse) makes every round delightful.

Just One is a cooperative party game about giving one-word clues. Each round, one player is the guesser and picks a hidden word (without looking at it). Everyone else secretly writes a one-word clue on their own little easel.
Before the guesser sees the clues, the clue-givers compare them, and any matching clues are removed. So if the word is "ocean" and three people wrote "sea", all three are erased. The challenge is to be helpful without being too obvious.
The guesser then gets one try. The team plays through 13 cards together and aims for the highest score. Rounds are quick, and it's easy to teach to anyone.

Yes. It's recommended for ages 8 and up, and since everyone is on the same team, it's very friendly.
