Why you'll like it

How it plays

In Great Western Trail, players are cattle ranchers driving herds from Texas to Kansas City. You move along a trail, stopping at buildings to take actions, buying cattle and hiring workers.

When you reach Kansas City, you sell your herd and ship it by train to cities across the map. Your deck of cattle cards determines how much you earn, so you constantly try to make your herd more valuable. It's a heavy, rewarding strategy game.
